October 2, 2025 — Pattarapon Wongsin, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Prism Energy, had the opportunity to present Prism Energy’s Intelligent Energy Monitoring Platform to the team at Shibuya Startup Oasis, a startup and venture capital community based in Tokyo, Japan.
During the discussion, Prism Energy introduced its Smart HEMS concept and AI-driven energy analytics technology designed to analyze electricity usage behavior from a single monitoring point.
The discussion focused on how the technology could support smarter energy management for modern buildings and real estate environments.
The Oasis team showed strong interest in the concept, particularly the ability to disaggregate energy behavior from a single main power line — an approach that was still relatively uncommon in the Japanese market at the time.
Throughout the meeting, the team shared positive feedback regarding the technology’s potential and its possible future applications within Smart Building and Energy Management sectors.
“One thing that impressed us was how open the Japanese startup ecosystem is toward practical technologies that can solve real operational problems and create measurable value.” — Pattarapon Wongsin, CTO, Prism Energy
Although no investment was ultimately made due to structural limitations and the fact that Prism Energy was not yet established in Japan, receiving positive feedback from members of Japan’s startup and venture capital ecosystem represented an important milestone for the team.
The discussion also reinforced the importance of building international connections and developing technologies capable of addressing global market needs.
Prism Energy remains committed to advancing AI-driven Energy Analytics technologies to support smarter, more efficient, and more intelligent energy management solutions for future buildings and industries.
