October 1, 2026 — Pattarapon Wongsin, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Prism Energy, had the opportunity to meet with representatives from Musashino University and the Nomura real estate management team responsible for the university’s facilities to discuss future opportunities in smart energy management within educational buildings and campuses.

During the discussion, Prism Energy presented its Intelligent Energy Monitoring Platform and Smart HEMS concept — an AI-driven Energy Analytics technology designed to analyze electricity usage behavior from a single monitoring point in order to improve building energy management efficiency.

The Musashino University team showed strong interest in the technology, particularly regarding the challenge of monitoring electricity usage within classrooms and university buildings. One of the concerns discussed was the issue of unnecessary or unauthorized electricity usage occurring in certain areas across campus facilities.

The meeting included discussions about how advanced monitoring technologies could support facility management, improve operational efficiency, and reduce long-term energy costs within educational environments.

In addition, representatives from Nomura, who oversee the university’s real estate management operations, also expressed strong interest in the platform and shared that they would be willing to consider becoming customers once the product reaches commercial readiness.

“One of the most valuable insights for us was realizing that energy management challenges are not limited to commercial buildings. Educational institutions also face similar operational issues, and technology can play an important role in improving efficiency.” — Pattarapon Wongsin, CTO, Prism Energy

Another encouraging aspect of the discussion was the university’s willingness to potentially serve as a future testing environment for the company’s technology, creating valuable opportunities for real-world deployment and research within a university-scale environment.

The discussion marked another important milestone for Prism Energy as the company continues expanding the vision of its Intelligent Energy Monitoring Platform into educational and public-sector environments.

Prism Energy remains committed to advancing AI-driven Energy Analytics technologies to support smarter, more efficient, and more practical energy management solutions across multiple industries and sectors.
