September 26, 2025 — Pattarapon Wongsin, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Prism Energy, met with the team at Nodomaru in Japan to discuss the future application of AI-driven Energy Monitoring technologies within Japan’s real estate sector.
Prior to the visit, Prism Energy and Nodomaru had already conducted an online Zoom meeting to introduce the product concept and explore potential opportunities for implementing the system in the Japanese market.
Following the initial online discussion, both parties later met in person in Japan to further exchange ideas regarding Smart HEMS and Prism Energy’s Intelligent Energy Monitoring Platform.
During the discussion, the Nodomaru team showed strong interest in the product, particularly its potential to help monitor and analyze electricity consumption for customers in the real estate and property sectors across Japan.
The conversation also covered installation approaches, the system’s capability to analyze energy behavior from a single monitoring point, and broader future applications for buildings and infrastructure.
“What impressed us most was how seriously the Japanese market approaches building-level energy management and how open they are to practical technologies that can create real operational value.” — Pattarapon Wongsin, CTO, Prism Energy
One particularly encouraging moment came at the end of the meeting, when the Nodomaru team expressed their interest in staying connected and requested continued updates regarding the product’s future development and progress.
The discussion represented another important step for Prism Energy in understanding the Japanese market and exploring opportunities within the smart building and real estate ecosystem.
